Snow and No School

It snowed last night and everything looks so magical and pristine when covered by a blanket of snow. This is the first major snow my area has had in awhile, so everyone is either outside playing around or inside appreciating the beauty of it all. I am most definitely part of the latter. Snow is good and all, but what's even better is that school got canceled for today, which is just the cherry on top. No worrying about pop quizzes, homework, or anything of that trivial stuff. Instead, I can spend a day relaxing with my family and taking in all that nature has given me.

It's been too long...

I haven't written in ages. And I feel so guilty. I started this blog as a way to journal my thoughts, artwork, and ideas, but it has come to the point where I am neglecting it. It's just that school has been so stressful lately. I have SATs coming up, college apps in less than a year, and I still don't know what exactly I want to do with my life. I just hope that I can make the time for this place. Even if nobody reads this, I just want to post something on here so it doesn't become abandoned. I want to put my art and writing, but there simply aren't enough hours in the day. However, I'm going to try my best to keep this blog going.

It's Been WAY too Long

I haven't posted in three weeks....eek. I have been extremely busy with school and homework lately that I have had to neglect this blog of mine. I also couldn't get any doodles done. Now I know what people mean when they say junior year is tough. So far, I've had so many tests and quizzes...it's just been so much. I hope that I won't get too stressed and freak out this year. Well, I'm just going to have to try my best. Wish me luck!

AHHH!!! I'm Back!

I am finally back from my three-week-long vacation! My vacation was such a whirlwind! It was so much moving around and driving....and I met so many people. It was nice, but I'm so glad to be back home in America. However, school starts tomorrow and I am totally dreading it. It'll be the first day of my junior year, the hardest year of high school and the most important. Grr....I wish I could just skip it. This means piles of homework and hours dedicated to extracurriculars. Not to mention I have to go back to work next week. Oh well, there are some perks. I don't have to take the bus anymore (I can now drive to school with my very own car!). And I do get more freedom. But still, this year is going to be tough. I just have to stay focused and I can never lose sight of the prize, which I guess in my situation would be good grades. Ganbatte!
Enough about school. I finally have a doodle up! I know it's on notebook paper and in pencil, but at least I got one up after like four five weeks of not having one. Since school is coming up, I can really only focus on this blog on the weekends, and getting doodles up may be more difficult, but I'll try my absolute best to get them up as often as possible. Well I guess that's really it for this post. Wish me luck with junior year!

New Doodle

Okay, I finally have a doodle up. It's not that great (heck, it's down right horrible), and I had to edit it in Photoshop a little (my PS skills suck by the way). Hopefully, though, someone out there will appreciate it. The good news is that this doodle is the first in a "series" of six. They were all drawn on the same piece of paper. Basically, all the doodles are a group of friends-or so they thought. Really, some of them hate each other. I could only get one up today, but I'll try my best to get the others up this weekend (no promises!). I hope you like it!

Boring, boring life

So today was just another boring day in my life. I didn't really do that much. I went out with my family, and we just bought some shoes and clothes for school this August (grr...I don't even want to think about that). Well, besides shopping, I didn't do much else today. Well, later I watched some Shaytards on YouTube (I ♥ them!). They are probably my favorite people on that website. They are such an awesome, cute family! I could go on and on...but anyways, so besides watching YouTube and going shopping, my day was extremely uneventful. But, the good news is, I got a doodle up! It's my new profile pic as well, so I guess it's not too big of an accomplishment, but at I finally got one up. Yay!

Work and No Doodles (Again!)

I had work today, and I still haven't posted any doodles yet! I feel so bad...and lazy, but I WILL get one up tomorrow, no matter what! I tried uploading a new profile pic today, but it didn't quite work out. Anyways, work today was...work. Work is never fun, but of course I do it to get a little extra money on the side. I work at a tutoring center where all the students are extremely annoying. I had such a bad headache once I got there, and my back was hurting and my hand was cramping up. Uggh, that is so not worth $7.25 an hour.

Blah Blah Blah

So nothing happened today. I read some, watched some TV, and surfed around YouTube today. I doodled a little, but I didn't really have a chance to get them up today. Hopefully, though, I'll get them up tomorrow (after I go shopping, go to work, and write an essay...). But other than that, I didn't really do much. It's already halfway through summer break where I live, and I'll be out of the country in about two weeks (ahh...I'm so excited!). So, that means no blog posts during that time, but I'll be sure to post once I get back. And I guess I can take some photos and get some serious doodling done then. I can only hope...

First Post

So who am I? Well, I guess I'm just a 16 year-old gal living in the US. I love reading, writing, and doodling, but most of all, I love anything that's kawaii! Don't know what kawaii is? Well, it's Japanese for cute or adorable. I started this blog to share my thoughts and doodles with the world. If you happened to stumble across my little corner of the Internet, fell free to stick around for a while and see what I have here. I hope there is something that interests you in the slightest bit! Basically, I'm going to try to get a drawing up at least once a day or every other day. My drawings aren't the greatest in the world (in fact, they kind of suck), but the important thing is that I love drawing!
